We require 2 Self-Starting individuals capable of driving a “solution driven sales process” rather than solely instrument driven sales. These 2 individuals will be responsible for the roll-out of the ASP-Con instrument – – an innovative tool for WWTP Management, reducing aeration energy by up to 50%, improving compliance and reducing carbon emissions.

Business Development / Sales Managers (2)

We are seeking to recruit 2 business development executives to our organisation. The background to the roles is shown below and more information can be found at We are currently looking to fill 2 roles, one covering the UK & Ireland and the other in International Markets. The Strathkelvin sales process is based on successful customer relationship development, providing an all-round customer service. This encompasses “a solution driven sales process”, rather than direct instrumentation sales. We are more interested in meeting our Customers’ needs, hence the birth of our ASP-Con, which was purely customer driven.

We are looking for 2 self-starting individuals who have a good sound understanding of the relevant markets for Biological Wastewater Management & Treatment Process. These 2 individuals will be responsible for the roll out of the ASP-Con instrument – Both roles will require extensive travel. There are opportunities to gain promotion to senior level management in the Organisation and within the industry in general

Key Deliverables

  • Achieve Sales Targets to meet the business plan. Develop opportunities, negotiate pricing and ensure delivery / installation and commissioning.
  • Maximise value of installation, consultancy sales, service and maintenance contracts.
  • Develop customer contacts – arrange meetings, deliver sales presentations and technical equipment demonstrations.
  • Develop partner and distributor relationships both formal and informal to maximise the rate and level of business development.
  • Prepare, present and market case studies and social media presence.
  • Prepare forecasts and assist in production planning.
  • Achieve Instrumentation acceptance on Utility Framework.
  • Manage local and European tender networks and compete for same.
  • Identify emerging technology requirements.

Good Knowledge of Wastewater Treatment Processes, Able to site assess clients’ treatment plants and processes holistically, making recommendations to enhance and optimise their treatment processes.

Able to enhance the Wastewater sales process with real experience and knowledge combined with being able to deliver this as a whole business solution, to a diverse clientele. We require candidates to be able to answer technical and procedural questions; supporting clients in how to improve their processes and mentoring clients’ staff members.
